Rock Life
Faces, figures and forms appear in the chalk cliffs between Margate and Cliftonville in East Kent. At dusk, in the half light, reduced visual information often fires the imagination; at least it seemed worthwhile to me to take a few shots. Focussing wasn't too easy and the dim light meant I had to use direct flash. With one or two exceptions I was concentrating only on form and composition, not looking for or identifying any human, animal or supernatural content. I only do that when I check under my bed each night before sleeping, as we all do.
